Midget AAA Is Coming To Okotoks!

Almost three years after applying to host a MAAA franchise, Hockey Alberta and the ADM have awarded a team to Okotoks and area that will begin play out of Pason Centennial Arena in the fall of 2017.  The Okotoks Oilers Athletic Association is elated to provide our draw zone members the opportunity to play elite MAAA hockey in Okotoks with the support of our feeder communities. With a strong volunteer base and a committed panel of board members, the team will be ready to hit the ice in September and compete in the AMHL. We will provide a united platform for our communities’ minor hockey associations to develop player talent from every corner of our draw zone. The CFR Bisons have had a long tradition of excellence due to strong programming, diligent coaching, loyal community support, and exceptional volunteers.  The new Okotoks MAAA team will make every effort to replicate this strong development model in pursuit of the same level of success.
