With the recent charges by the Winnipeg Police to Madison Biluk and our recent communication along with the media coverage we want to provide both OMHA And OOAA membership with a update:

“All information that the OMHA and OOAA have received regarding Madison Biluk, the former U18AA Raiders 2021/22 coach, including the parent complaint letter received after the season March ‘22, has been submitted to the Independent Third Party (ITP), the body that conducts investigations for Hockey Canada. All investigations, Provincially or through the ITP are strictly confidential and therefore we have no further information to provide at this time”.

As part of Hockey Alberta, the OOAA and OMHA are committed to fostering an environment that is safe for all participants. We support and encourage any individual who has experienced any type of mistreatment, sexual violence, harassment or bullying by someone affiliated with the OOAA or the OMHA to bring forward their concerns to the appropriate authority. In particular, we encourage any individual who may have concerns about their interactions with Ms. Biluk during her time with the OOAA to contact the Okotoks RCMP detachment.
